Hi Kristi -- I use two different lunch "boxes" for my son's lunches. His traditional boxes go in a small collapsible cooler that's meant to hold a six pack. I couldn't find it on the Thermos site but it looks very similar to this one: http://www.thermos.com/product_details.aspx?Pro...

His Laptop Lunchbox has a special case designed to fit it, along with a water bottle. Here is the link to it: http://secure.laptoplunches.com/AMAZING/itemMat...

He used to have a Spiderman lunch box that we got at Target, but my husband accidentally forgot it on a plane a few months ago.

OMG! That sounds HORRIBLE! I always pack at least 10 diapers for the plane because I'm so scared of running out.

Wendy,
I feel or you with the diaper incident and I can't even cope with the idea of getting on a plane with all of that stuff!! I lo-o-ove the picture of Wyatt dancing. He is just deliciously 5 years old!

Poor Wendy. One of my worst experiences ever was flying home to CA from FL when my big boys were 3 and 1. Owen went through every diaper I had packed (like 6!) with in the first 3 hours of the flight. I can't type out the rest of it. It was horrible. Horrrrible. The worst. I walked up and down the whole plane hoping to find another baby on board that I could beg a diaper off of and there were none. Horrible.
Anywho, one thing that did work on that trip spendidly was getting a small foldable dolly (or a luggage rolly thing would work) to strap Owen's Marathon to. Then we buckled Owen into the carseat and used it as a stroller through the airports. It was awesome. The dolly fit right into an overhead compartment on the plane.
