I just had to post a comment about your feelings on the teacher asking your child to eat certain foods first. I could feel your anger in the post and I felt bad. I am a teacher but I don't teacher small children or eat with my middle schoolers at all. However, I know that there are LOTS and LOTS of children who don't have parents who are concerned about what they eat OR come from homes that don't know any better. So I can see where a teacher would try to be helpful in teaching good eating habits since so many children are missing them. Just my opinion.

Ack! I would be more than a little ticked if someone told my son he couldn't eat what I had packed. Unbelievable! What's with the snack policing?!

Very cool lunches. I always enjoy seeing these. They're colorful and fun and give me great ideas for when my little guy gets old enough for packed lunches! :)
