I finally bought some bentos for the kids for Christmas and today was the first day taking them. The panda face with the elastic band and a (UM HUGE) black Goodbyn. The girls said the cafeteria lady had all the other adults come over to look. My 8 year olds teacher didnt believe a decent lunch could fit in the panda (had to use a quarter for milk). And the other kids were all excited to see what was inside. I guess I'll be giving bentos for gifts from now on. Wait till they see the pancakes next week. Well, I have $65 to blow on bento supplies now so I'm going to go back thru your posts and hit the links for the products. Cant wait. no no no, the You Eat Buns is perfect for a 5 year old boy!!

I started reading the archives a couple yrs ago when she was packing her son's bento lunch every day. I was so inspired I bought a Laptop Lunch set for myself. I don't do the bento thing you do but I still felt very cute. I saved sooooo much money, using up random bits and pieces, eating leftovers, etc for lunch. And I also took pictures of my lunch when it was cute. I loved doing that for myself, saving money and having a good lunch and all my coworkers were always so jealous of my lunch too :-)
