Have you made salt and pepper tofu? I've been making it in sticks and slabs for sandwiches and keeping it in the fridge. It's SOOOOOOOO good. Might be my fav ever.

Hi-Just saw a link to your site. I have both bought the TJ's baked tofu and made my own. My own preschooler (who is a pretty good eater) prefers the one I make. TJ's Teriyaki sauce on extra firm tofu, baked for awhile. I got 350 for 1/2 or so, just put lots of sauce. Comes out less dry than the packaged version and is much less $$.

Thanks for the link from Berkeley Parents Network. As a mom to a somewhat picky preschooler (her first day at school will be in 2 weeks), your photos have given me great ideas and confidence that I can make fun, simple, healthy lunches too. Go Wendolonia!

I have never ever found the flavored tofu anywhere I have shopped. But do not think for one minute that has lessened my desire for it!! And you did that tutorial on how to flavor it, but I never tried it. I may go back through your old posts and try it. Aren't you glad summer is here and the fruits and veggies are so good?
