Project 365: Week 1

by Wendy Copley on January 8, 2009

I’ve decided to do a 365 project this year — one photo per day for an entire year. I’m planning to focus mostly on daily life type photos in order to get a snapshot of our lives throughout 2009. I’ll be posting my photos here on a weekly basis. So here’s the slice of life for this week:

1/365: Zach at Fatapples

January 1, 2009: Zach at breakfast at Fatapples. He looks hungover in this picture, but he’s not. He’s actually jet-lagged.

2/365: Grabbing

January 2, 2009: Augie has gotten really good at grabbing things. He’s also good at getting them into his mouth.

3/365: Breakfast

January 3, 2009: Bed head and Cheerios.

4/365: Paper San Francisco

January 4, 2009: Paper San Francisco on the kitchen wall. Wyatt said something about the city and I got the idea to make a paper skyline with him. Note the Golden Gate bridge and 2 Transamerica pyramids.

5/365: Holes

January 5, 2009: I finished the Sookie Stackhouse books, so I picked this book up at the library. I’ve been meaning to read it for years and I got 3/4’s of the way through in one night.

6/365: Back to Work

January 6, 2009: I started back to work this week, doing a few days at home and a few in the office. My desk is a disaster area, so I worked on the kitchen table.

January 7, 2009: Augie had his 4 month well baby appointment. He weighs 16 lbs., 14 oz. and he’s 25 inches long. He has a cold and had a slight fever yesterday, so no vaccinations for him this visit.

I’m really excited about this project, I’ve done this before for a month and it was tough, but I think I’ll be able to keep it up for the whole year. If I miss a day here and there, it’s no biggie. In addition to doing a weekly post with the photos here, I’m planning to make a big scrapbook with all the photos and I’m posting them to Flickr.
