Mononucleosis

Now we know why I’ve been feeling so crappy for the last couple of months:
Poor me!

This also explains why the antibiotics haven’t been working — because mono is a virus.

I still have to talk to the doctor (I got the test results online) but as far as I’ve been able to ascertain, there’s nothing I can do besides try to get some rest. Also, no contact sports in case my spleen bursts, but I don’t think that’s really an issue.

Wow, does this mean you never had strep throat or is this an additional kick in the head. Aunt Linda had a terrible case of mono when she was about 16. Maybe she has some suggestions about what she did to get well. You poor little thing.

Sue-Sue — They think it was never strep, but mono this whole time. They have a lot of similar symptoms apparently.
